Technology takes over is a film about three college students, Annmarie, Mary, and Carol, who become more and more dependent on technology by saving all of their most important information on their phones and computers, they start to realize some strange things going on around them. They start to notice more and more how they feel they are being watched, but they notice too late. Something has been tracking their every move and watching them constantly for months, little do they know the thing they trusted the most, the internet, has backstabbed them and is not blackmailing them to do what it wants so their personal information isn't released. As they realize things are getting more and more serious, they know they have to do something to stop this. They are informed they are not allowed to discuss any of this with anyone else or their information will automatically be released. they have to fin a way to stop the internet before the internet stops them.
