My first intention is to create drama through the conflict of the main character’s inability to remember her own life including her friends and family. My second intention is to create a satisfying ending through the conflict being solved through the help of her family and friends. My third intention is to create nostalgia through the use of home movies to help the main character remember her life.

A girl who was diagnosed with brain cancer and undergoes surgery shares her story through a video online. Although her surgery was a success, due to the procedure, she has lost her memory of almost everything from her life, including her friends. She shares how she reaches out to her friends via text messaging in a group chat that started before the surgery took place and continued long after. Thanks to her friends, family, and her teacher, she is able to re learn almost everything from school and her life. While creating the video of her story, she reads aloud the text messages she and her friends sent to each other, to clearly explain the impact her friends had on her memories, and motivating her to work hard to remember her life. After she remembers almost everything from her life, she is able to continue on normally, and live life as she would have. Her friends and family help her remember her life and her teacher helps her remember her school life. While re learning everything from school, her memories start coming back, and she is able to watch home movies to remember everything from outside of school. The people who see her video online, will get a clear understanding of what she went through and how she overcame this obstacle in her life.

Pathogen

The short film Pathogen is a science fiction thriller that will have audiences on the edge of their seats begging to see more. The story centers around two doctors (Malcolm and Rogers) as they are tasked with trying to come up with a cure for the first disease outbreak in the last 25 years. Following the end of a third world war humans have gotten rid of disease as it is known in the modern day or so they think. Eradicating all bacteria these people live in a completely sterile environment with no interaction of the destroyed world around them. This creates a perfect breeding ground for nature to take it’s course and rid the earth of it’s true ailment. This thriller stars Tom hardy, Daniel Craig, and Rachel McCadams in roles that are out of their ordinary comfort zone. While Craig most well known for his roles as James Bond plays a much more even toned disease outbreak specialist sidekicked by McCadams who plays a nurturing Doctor Rogers. The film is fast paced giving the feeling of more explanation needed at times it is still the thriller of the summer. It is a perfect blend of a constant dark undertone with the wild ride of a questionable but very possible future world. Excellent acting will carry most of the emotion of this movie there will be tears and laughs as the audience is submersed into the end of the world as they know it. Opting for a more classical musical score the grand scenes and emotions of the characters are portrayed through the music. John Williams writing the bulk of the music gets to show his dark side and displays deep tones mixing fittingly with the dark genre created. This film will leave viewers with more questions than answers adding to the fun of speculation and debate about the current scientific research being conducted.

Concert Controversy By Mike Freeman

In the slapstick comedy produced by Mike Freeman the gang is traveling to their first concert to celebrate their upcoming graduation. The Group has to get past being split up at a concert to finding out their mentor and favorite gym teacher has a secret that is extremely important that cannot be released. Terrell has to make a gut decision on weather or not to keep his coaches secret.

The script begins in school when Mike informs the group that they will be attending a big concert and that his dad got them tickets for free. The group packs their things an gets prepared for the trip. While at the concert the group splits up and experiences different paths. Terrell finds himself lost in the portapotty while Tom finds his way backstage to have the performance opportunity of a lifetime. Will the group find each other before the concert completes? Will Tom ace his first live performance? Will Devin finally find the friends she deserves?

The Adventures of Finding a Home- Dianna Oelkers

Cast:
Student Cast
Brody- Mr. Rivers
Pip- Jacey Deleu
Mom- Joanna Muino
Johnny- Julie Oelkers

The Adventures of Finding a Home is a touching story of a lonely dog named Brody who was abandoned by his previous owners leaving him on the sidewalks of Central Park. Brody spends all his days spending time at park and over his time he meet his best friend Pip, a funky pidgin who helps Brody and sticks by him through the journey.  Brody was talking to Pip when he explains that he wants something more than just a sad life alone at the park. He always looks over at owners and their dogs having fun at the park and Brody comes to the conclusion that he wants what those dogs have and realizes he needs to work for it if he so he can get what he want. So he asked Pip to help him. The two characters go through a bunch of ups and downs all for one thing in the end, finding the perfect family.

I would recommend this short film to audiences because it really does show the importance of  friendship. The story ties in life lessons from never give up, to trusting yourself all while being light hearted and a little bit silly! It would be a great short film for kids to watch and I feel like they can remember the lessons that are shown through the film as they grow.

Dream Job by Claire Vreeland

Cast:
Rose- Emma Stone
Patrick- Ryan Reynolds

Netflix Summary
Some people get tired of typical romantic-comedies but this Dream Job is going to change people's perspective on that. In this romantic comedy, the main character, Rose has the job she has always wanted. She gets to travel the world, journaling her experiences and memories through a travel agency. Along the way she travels with a couple who exploits their relationship in front of her. She describes herself as a "third-wheel" and she wishes to change it. She wants a man to spend her time with. They travel to amazing tropical islands and beaches and rose gets upset when she realizes how many honeymooners there are which makes her very anxious. They travel to Greece where Ashley and Rick spend time together and they travel to Paris, the love capital of the world. Fate helps Rose out when she meets a man named Patrick who works for the same agency, and has the same itinerary as Rose and her friends. Before the audience is even aware, they are dating in Paris and five years later they go back for their anniversary.
Because of the interesting mix of actors and actresses portraying the main characters, the plot does not get boring. Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds are known for romantic comedies like Easy-A and The Notebook. Vanessa Hudgens will forever be known for High School Musical. And Ben Affleck is known for his amazing work in Good Will Hunting. Because of the mix in works these actors and actresses have done, this movie is going to be well-rounded and provide a lot of variety. Emma Stone and Ryan Reynold starred in La-La-Land together which was another romantic-comedy that changed people's outlooks. Although people think that romantic-comedies are typically all the same, there are many that open people's eyes. Dream Job is definitely one to change perspective.

Katie Hastings "The Gang Splits Up"

Brought to you by Comedy Central, the thirteenth season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is packed with humor. As usual, you'll see several friends and their bar, Paddy's Pub. They will try to find their way in the world of work and relationships, but season thirteen will be all the more uncomfortable. Bad relationships, awkward encounters with the Mcpoyles, and downright failures when it comes to business opportunities. Season thirteen will have it all, and more. The first episode, "The Gang Splits Up" sets the scene for the rest of the unforgettable, thirteenth season.

The episode begins with Frank informing Mac and Charlie that he must close Paddy's Pub due to bankruptcy. Mac and Charlie immediately begin their hunt for a new job. After some thought, the two friends decide to fall back on one of their old ideas, fight milk. As explained in previous episodes, fight milk is "the first alcoholic, dairy-based protein drink for bodyguards by bodyguards." The drink is comprised of an absurd list of ingredients, including a crow's egg, milk, and unidentified booze. After opening a factory to mass-produce their "fight milk", Mac and Charlie take their product to a gym, in hopes of marketing the drink to people there.
After interacting with multiple people at the gym, Mac and Charlie start to see a trend. Every person they approach with the fight milk ignores them or walks away. After an embarrassing trip around the gym, a man finally tells them the reason that everyone is avoiding the two. Apparently, one of the fighters that has tried “fight milk” told everyone how disgusting the drink was and word got around about the drink. Mac and Charlie, defeated, walk back to Paddy’s Pub, expecting to break in for one last drink. When they arrive, the door is open and people are in the bar. Frank laughs at Mac and Charlie as they enter and yells, “I was kidding, you bastards!”

The cast includes Charlie Day as Charlie, Rob McElhenney as Mac, Danny DeVito as Frank, and Gerard Butler, Colin Farrell, Josh Duhamel, Jensen Ackles, and Adam Brody as extras. The link to the episode is https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1xcuWK92hAYSlpmVGNFTDhhY0E.

The Cure by Maeve McVeigh

Six months ago a neighborhood was taken from their homes by the CDC. They were informed that they’re all infected with this unknown, so far untreatable disease and they will all be isolated to a hospital floor. Months have gone by. Some have passed, some are barely hanging on. Some believe they have a chance of getting out of there some day. Most believe survival is unlikely. One particular man has yet to give up hope despite the evidence. Clark is his name. Day after day he wishes the doctor will come in with the cure telling him and his family they can go back to their old everyday lives. He talks to a few of the other patients there who clearly have given up hope of survival. And never hesitates to page the nurse whenever he feels something is wrong with his son. He barely sleeps kept awake from stress and hearing the others cough.

One night when everyone is asleep Clark hears a creak on the floor. Curious who’s there, a mysterious stranger appears by the name of Pseudo. He gives Clark exactly what he has been asking for a cure to this disease.  Only one problem there’s only one dose of the cure. Which means the power is in Clark’s hands for deciding who gets to get out of here and go live their lives while everyone else is stuck there waiting for the inevitable. Clark has to decide between his son Bobby, the love of his life Janet or himself. Bobby is deteriorating by the minute. Janet has lost all hope of survival while Clark still tries to remain hopeful. Will the time he wastes debating who gets their life back come back to haunt him? Will this be too much for one man to handle?

Mischief At Hogwarts- Michael Tartaglia

A young boy named Riley finds himself in a world full of magic after discovering a wand and finally getting his acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Riley has only just turned eleven and does not understand the danger that waits with Voldemort’s return. His parents are hesitant in letting him attend due to the war that just broke out last June but Riley already knows he has magical capabilities and is of pureblood heritage. His father makes the decision in letting him attend Hogwarts instead of holding him back until the war ends. As soon he finishes getting his school supplies, he boards the Hogwarts Express at King’s Cross Station. On the train, he meets two other boys the same age. All of them are nervous about their first year; discuss what house they hope to be placed in.
As the story progresses Riley and the two other boys he met on the train are placed in Slytherin house. He becomes close friends with them as they share a common hatred toward Harry Potter. They side with Voldemort because he wants only purebloods to attend Hogwarts. The boys come up with a plan to prevent mudbloods from learning magic. They go to extreme lengths to fulfill this plan which involves putting themselves in danger in order to achieve it. In this crazy plan, the trio breaks hundreds of school rules in an attempt to prevent all the mudbloods from learning magic at Hogwarts. Their plan eventually falls apart as someone catches them trying to hide the stolen school supplies in a girl’s bathroom. At the end of the story, the audience sees that the chaos results in cosmos as Dumbledore does not expel them and it is clear that the boys learned their lesson. This story gives another perspective of the Harry Potter world through the eyes of children that side with Voldemort instead of Harry Potter.

Summary:

In an action packed thriller which brings viewers back into their high school prime or lack there of, four friends since the first grade, Johnny, Jim,  Mike, and Matt were arriving upon their last months together in high school.  The past four years had been the time of their lives not having any real responsibilities such as carrying a job or folding their own laundry for that matter.  But along with the pleasure of having no responsibilities came the annoyance of the people whose roof they lived under, their parents.  Throughout high school, the four friends constantly battled with the struggle to deal with strict parents, especially Johnny.  But this all changes for Johnny in the spring of his senior year when his parents decide to take a vacation to Aruba with no one left to watch him besides his older brother.  With his house nanny not around either, Johnny knows that this could be his chance.
While sitting at lunch one day, Johnny decided to tell his friends.  Johnny always had the same friends his entire life.  He could tell them anything, but telling them came with the intention of making something happen.  The intention to finally throw the best party of his life.  Never wanting to really take action himself before, Johnny relies on his friend Matt to make the calls.  Although Matt seemed detrimental to the party at times, nothing would be the same without his wild side.  Meanwhile  Jim, a boy who never seemed to risk anything in his life, attempted to hold him back and Mike presented himself evenly throughout their different opinions.

The party however creates a spin on the night which brings out the characters true bond, both good and bad.  With the intention to show a group of high school best friends going through ups and downs together, May 2nd is a story like no other.  While celebrating everyone’s high school times once spent, the four friends show that no matter what ever happens, nothing can break true friendships and having a good time.

The World's Biggest CH- Eric Lesch

This story is based off of a dumb running joke my friends and I have been saying. The title will be the “World’s Biggest CH” or just “CH”. The joke is that a “CH” is someone who acts unusually or out of the ordinary / at random.  “CH” being pronounced “che”.  The basis of the story is two or three friends searching for the world’s biggest ch. The 5 characters in the story are Eric Lesch, Premal Patel, Brandon Dreher, Matt Abastonte, and Elias Frieling. The conflict will be that a friend gets locked behind a door. The door closes and it is found that the door can not be opened without  the help of “World’s Biggest Ch”.  The problem is there are so many chs in the world it seems almost impossible to find the world’s biggest one. The characters will go on a journey to find this person and keep failing over and over again in the attempt to open this door. At first the characters did not know what exactly a ch really was, but throughout their adventure the figure exactly what it is. They search all over. They search cabinets, schools, airports, sporting events. Almost everything that you could think of that has large amounts of people. The characters begin to get into a conflict within themselves. They become way to impatient and they don't want to continue.  Two characters want to give up, but one of them gets them back into the adventure. Then when they are at the brink of defeat and about to give up, they run into a person that they know for sure is the one.
