Dragon Ball fans will love this climactic end to the series they grew up watching, while newer fans will be intrigued about the backstory that they will go back and watch and enjoy the older series. Dragon Ball Super: End of the Saiyan Race will feature one of the most action packed fights the series has ever known, while featuring sides of your favorite characters that you have never seen before. Fans of Vegeta will rejoice in his final bit of character development, while the mystery behind Goku's actions will keep fans intrigued and guessing.

Narrative Intentions:
- After 300+ episodes of Goku and Vegeta fighting and teaming up, I’ve had years to learn about these characters. One of my goals is to truly capture the archetypes and personalities of these characters and how they’ve grown in 300+ episodes, and how they’ve almost completely switched roles since the beginning of the series.
- Another goal I have is to recapture the flame of the Goku Vegeta rivalry. Vegeta’s entire purpose in life, according to him, is to become the strongest Saiyan ever and surpass Goku, who has always been 1 step ahead of him. However, Goku and Vegeta have trained equally and they are now on the same Power Level. This is Vegeta’s final chance to prove himself. Vegeta will do this by having the most close fight the two have ever had. In past fights, you could tell whether one side would win or not, but in this fight, I plan to make it so close and so hard-fought that no one will be able to predict the outcome.
- My final goal is to make a true ending to the Dragon Ball series. The Dragon Ball series ended on a sour note with Dragon Ball GT, and a lot was still left unanswered. My goal is to have this series can finally come to its dramatic, climactic and resounding end, but to keep the ending so open that multiple outcomes could be the true outcome. There’s only one way to truly end the Dragon Ball series; make the Dragon Balls useless. No matter what the final outcome is, the Dragon Balls cannot save them this time.
