Mischief At Hogwarts- Michael Tartaglia

A young boy named Riley finds himself in a world full of magic after discovering a wand and finally getting his acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Riley has only just turned eleven and does not understand the danger that waits with Voldemort’s return. His parents are hesitant in letting him attend due to the war that just broke out last June but Riley already knows he has magical capabilities and is of pureblood heritage. His father makes the decision in letting him attend Hogwarts instead of holding him back until the war ends. As soon he finishes getting his school supplies, he boards the Hogwarts Express at King’s Cross Station. On the train, he meets two other boys the same age. All of them are nervous about their first year; discuss what house they hope to be placed in.
As the story progresses Riley and the two other boys he met on the train are placed in Slytherin house. He becomes close friends with them as they share a common hatred toward Harry Potter. They side with Voldemort because he wants only purebloods to attend Hogwarts. The boys come up with a plan to prevent mudbloods from learning magic. They go to extreme lengths to fulfill this plan which involves putting themselves in danger in order to achieve it. In this crazy plan, the trio breaks hundreds of school rules in an attempt to prevent all the mudbloods from learning magic at Hogwarts. Their plan eventually falls apart as someone catches them trying to hide the stolen school supplies in a girl’s bathroom. At the end of the story, the audience sees that the chaos results in cosmos as Dumbledore does not expel them and it is clear that the boys learned their lesson. This story gives another perspective of the Harry Potter world through the eyes of children that side with Voldemort instead of Harry Potter.
