Today is the day the Sparta High School seniors are graduating and the atmosphere is filled with an air of excitement. The seniors have been waiting for this day for what feels like forever, and it's finally here! Although behind that joy, there is an air of sadness surrounding the 2017 graduating class. One of the seniors is leaving for college very soon. Her parents are upset at the thought of their daughter leaving earlier than they believed she would. And her friends are really sad to see her go. Being one of the first seniors to leave for college is a very difficult position to be put in and although this will make you believe that graduation would be a distraction, you will soon come to realize that being surrounded by family and friends isn't as big of a distraction as previously thought. The fact that she's leaving for college pretty soon comes up more than once. Old friendships are renewed and memories of childhoods run rampant. But the excitement of graduating ultimately shines through for this senior and her friends. Through the ups and downs of graduation, comes a story of new beginnings and old friendships.
If you like bittersweet movies with a happy ending this is the movie for you! Not only will this movie have you crying and laughing, but there are also some big name stars as well! Brad Pitt and Emma Stone! Along with guest appearances from Jennifer Lawrence and Blake Lively. Adapting to a new roll for her, Jennifer Lawrence brings some comedic scenes as opposed to her usual dramas! Targeting teenage audiences, this movie brings a new twist to the comedic dramas genre. If you are looking for a night out on the town with friends, this is definitely the movie for you!
