Today in class we continued watching the critical reviews made by our classmates. After each review we wrote a 'tweet' giving the creator feedback about their video. The videos we watched today were about
Good Will Hunting, Patrick Swayze movies, the combat in
Saving Private Ryan and
Captain America, and
The Office. The first video talked about how the use of dialogue made the movie so great and relate-able. The second video went through all the movies that Swayze has been in, but focused mainly on what set his movie Ghost apart from the others. The next video used clips from both movies to show how the fighting in Saving Private Ryan is more realistic than Captain America. The final video used clips from the office that showcased some of the most awkward moments of the show.
After watching a lot of videos from our classmates its easy to tell who worked really hard and went above and beyond. The best videos tend to have a planned script and the voice overs match the visuals. Also they have good clips to support their analysis. The tweets will be very helpful, because we will be able to see what we should have done better. Its very interesting and entertaining to watch everyone's video and I am curious to find out who will win best video.
